Golden Whip Stream is named for the main spots Golden Whip Peak,the peak point up to the sky look like whip shape and with sunshine the color is golden color, whip is an ancient Chinese weapon.It’s said that the first emperor of Qin Dynasty (221B.C.-206B.C.) used his whip to control the mountains. However one day he got drunk, the whip turned into peak in Zhangjiajie park as we see today. With peaks and cliffs 350 meters around,in total about 7.5 km walking in the green and peaceful canyon,have spots of Golden Whip Peak,Spilting Mountain to Save Mother, Violet Grass Pool, the Pool of Jumping Fishes, Litterateur Rock, Double Turtle Creek, The Meet of a Thousand Miles, Welcome Rock, Drunk Lohan, The Three-Nan Boulders, Water Rapping Around Four Doors, The Scholar and His Books, and Camel Peak,etc.
Jinbian brook scenic area is a protected natural park, which means the water and air are both clean, clear and won’t hurt you in general.
